Lane Farm was one of ten farms, each of approximately 200 acres, that comprised the Wilderly Estate. Following WW1, and associated death duties, the Estate was broken up into ten independent farms. Lane Farm went onto develop into a freehold dairy and pig farm up until the 1990's.

From the 1990's Lane Farm was split from the bulk of the land to become a smallholding of 50 acres. We moved to the property in 1998 and started building a pedigree flock of Lleyn sheep in 1999. We added our second breed, Dutch Spotted sheep, in 2018.
